Plate craft
You leave with meals you can cook from a short list.
Welcome to the care team
Home / Find a Doctor / Caleb Ortiz
Sports Nutrition Physician
Caleb plans food around training without turning every meal into a calculation. He wants you strong and able to cook.
Caleb works with people who lift, run, or train after work and then do not know what dinner is for. He pairs the session with a plate: protein you can name, plants, and enough starch to show up again tomorrow. He is allergic to complicated rules that collapse on a Thursday.
A visit covers the week, not a single hero day. He asks when you train, when you sleep, and which meals get skipped. Then he places food where the gaps are. Sometimes that is a larger breakfast. Sometimes it is a planned snack in the bag you already carry.
He will talk about supplements only after food is in place, and only as an option. He does not sell products from this website, and he would rather you spend the money on fish, yogurt, fruit, and rice.
Caleb's notes read like a coach who can cook. You get two or three plates, a shopping list that fits on a card, and a reminder that rest days eat too.
Mention Caleb Ortiz in your note or choose this name on the appointment form. Visits are educational conversations about food and habits. They are not emergency care, and they do not replace a clinician who already knows your history.

A written note you can reread when the week gets noisy.
